Nike SB Dunk High Atlas Lost at Sea (2020)

The Swoosh and the Californian skateshop Atlas revisit the SB Dunk High, drawing inspiration from the mishap known as the “Great Shoe Spill of 1990.” The storm at the end of the 90s caused the loss of over 60,000 pairs of Nike during a ship’s crossing from Korea to the United States. The Nike SB Dunk High Atlas Lost at Sea (2020) features an off-white upper on a contrasting blue base at the Swooshes, outsole, and ankle collar. Cracked suede and a vintage midsole paired with cream-
colored laces imitate the condition in which the pairs were found after drifting for several months in the ocean. The tongue is the same as the one found on the Air Flight 89, with its instantly recognizable typography, here displaying “Nike SB Atlas.”

With its original design and nod to an event that left a mark on sneakerheads, this iteration expands the Dunk lineup for the community’s delight!
