Born in 1979, the release of the Nike Daybreak stands as one of the highlights for the brand with the Swoosh. Worn by Joan Benoit, the winner of the very first women’s marathon included in the Olympic program, this pair of running quickly adapted to sneaker codes.
The Nike Daybreak Type N.354 Cactus Flower features a rather thin mesh construction, almost see-through. The upper is enhanced by beige and brown suede overlays at various points such as around the eyelets and the quarter panel. There are navy blue laces, as well as N.354 branding as a signature detail. The whole look is completed by the usual sole of this model.
